C O M Our ProView™ technology is capable of removing system- atic image variations and presenting optomap images in a consistent geometry which accurately represents anatomi- cal features in the retina. We also have a cloud-based sof- ware solution for image storage that is fully HIPPA com- pliant. Finally, the sofware includes Modality Workfow, DICOM compatibility, and integration with most EHR systems. Te future for ultra-widefeld and Optos is bright. On May 27th, Optos was acquired by Nikon to anchor the Medical division in their "Next100 – Transform to Grow" strategy for the next 100 years of Nikon. Both Nikon and Optos are com- mitted to strengthen and grow the product line by combin- ing the expertise of both companies. Over the next few years, I am confdent eyecare professionals will be amazed with the products that will come from this partnership. CLINICAL VALIDATION As I touched on previously, Optos is dedicated to build- ing the most innovative products for retinal imaging. Tese hardware and sofware products are integral to the success of our clinical achievements. As we continue our journey toward being Te Retina Company, clinical vali- dation will enable our customers to successfully help their patients. In 2015 alone, we had our highest reported num- ber of clinical study results to date. During the year, more than 50 clinical papers featuring ultra-widefeld imaging were published in peer reviewed scientifc journals. Fur- thermore, our technology is supported by more than 300 completed and ongoing clinical studies, representing over 60 retinal and systemic diseases. Tis growing body of ev- idence demonstrates the clinical signifcance of imaging as much of the retina as possible and will further support progress toward becoming a standard of retinal care. Ocular pathology, as well as many non-eye diseases OPTOME TRIC MANAGEMENT CORPORATE PROFILE HERE'S TO THE NEXT 100! OPTOS AND NIKON WILL CONTINUE TO DEFINE THE FUTURE OF RETINAL IMAGING S P O N S O R E D B Y O P T O S Leslie Amodei Vice President of Global Product Marketing Optos I AM VERY happy to congratulate Optometric Management on this signifcant achievement. Optos is pleased to participate and to welcome the next ffy years jointly supporting the suc- cess of the profession of optometry. PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE In 2000, Optos delivered the frst and only retinal imaging device capable of capturing an image of 200 degrees or 82% of the retina. Te ability to clearly image that much of the retina, in one capture, and in less than one second, changed the way ultra-widefeld retinal imaging allows eyecare professionals to examine their patients' eyes. We are the only company that ofers a 200 degree fundus photograph in multiple imaging mo- dalities including color, red-free, autofuorescence, fuo- rescein and ICG angiography. Optos products span the full spectrum of patient care, from screening to discovery and diagnosis to manage- ment and treatment. By providing a wide product ofer- ing, we can meet more of the needs of the practice, thus assisting our vision to be Te Retina Company of choice for eyecare professionals worldwide. For ffeen years, we have continued to evolve our hard- ware and sofware platforms by incorporating innovative technologies. We have created devices with a much smaller footprint and more imaging modalities in one device than any other retinal imaging device on the market. In addi- tion, the image capture and viewing sofware is techno- logically superior to anything else that I have seen because when our optomap® images are viewed, they are an ana- tomically correct representation of the retina. With regard to the standard fundus image (10-45% of the retina), you would expect this, however, when you image 82% of the retina, more shape bias occurs (think "Greenland Efect").
