ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION More than 29 million people in the United States have diabetes, and it is the number one cause of new cases of blindness among adults in the United States. 1 This supplement serves to increase disease awareness and treatment approaches to the visual manifestations of diabetes, and to document cross-disciplinary insights among optometrists, endocrinologists and retina specialists.
